Uncertain.
In this world, copies walk among the living. They talk to them. They remember their former lives.
Hamlet returns from war to Elsynor. KronOS can store human consciousness in the cloud and recreate it in a new body. As he watches the copies, Hamlet finds it harder to trust what he sees. Eventually, he begins to wonder whether he himself still truly exists.
HAMLET.EXE is a multimedia production where concert, musical and science-fiction theatre meet. Most songs are performed as rap, while acting, dance and cinematic imagery carry the story forward.
The music is performed live by an orchestra whose instruments sound as though they have arrived from different eras.

The Levant. A meeting point of East and West. Beirut, renamed Elsynor, becomes the first point of synchronisation.
KronOS was meant to unify time, the rhythm of life and social processes. To bring order. Now, those who refuse to follow a single rhythm are labelled asynchronous.
A war breaks out over time. Over memory, the future and the right to biological life.
